Situated at the fairly new Takanini Village is this bar/restaurant. Spacious with upstairs seating and several big flat TV screens is a plus. Can’t expect much service here you have to order both food and drinks at the bar.
Fish and chips was not bad. Chicken tenders were a little bit on the dry side and lacking salt or any flavours. Not enough sweet chilli sauce to overcome that either. Chips were quite good though especially the garlic aioli topped with blue cheese. Other than that the menu offers a variety of dishes but they should probably just stick to bar snacks rather than meals. It’s a great place to hang out for drinks with your mates and watch a game of footie, although I would think twice about coming here on date night.
