We found this place via TripAdvisor while in Christchurch. Make sure you make reservations as they were really busy on Thursday evening when we went. It’s located a short walk from CBD. We enjoyed our mains and dessert was equally amazing. Prices are a bit on the steep side but it’s definitely worth to come here for a special occasion.
The vegetarian gnocchi was cooked al dente while the filling was just the right amount. Amazing white sauce too. Pork belly had a crispy skin and the fat melted in my friend’s mouth. The steak was juicy and cooked to perfection. Strawberry shortcake was yummy, but the smooth white chocolate icecream on the side almost stole the thunder! Great food presentation too, where you can see the chefs put a lot of effort to make the dishes very attractive and appealing to the eyes and stomach. (Reviewed in November 2015)
